I HAVE A YAMAHA WOLVERINE ATV. IS THERE ANY OTHER OIL I CAN USE INSTEAD OF YAMALUBE?

THE ENGINE OIL GOES THROUGH THE CLUTCHES SO I NEED A OIL THAT WONT **** UP MY CLUTCHES. ANY IDEAS???I HAVE A YAMAHA WOLVERINE ATV. IS THERE ANY OTHER OIL I CAN USE INSTEAD OF YAMALUBE?
Any SJ-rated 10w40 automotive oil will work. Only the 5w30 and lighter oils have enough friction modifiers to make your clutch slip. Don't waste your money on "motorcycle" oil.I HAVE A YAMAHA WOLVERINE ATV. IS THERE ANY OTHER OIL I CAN USE INSTEAD OF YAMALUBE?
Here is a great site that describes what kind of oil to use in your engine. Basically you need an oil with an API Service category SG or JASO MA. Brand is less important than these service types.

Valvoline makes a motorcycle oil that can be purchased at any auto part store for about half the price of Yamalube and meets the same requirements. Hope I have been helpful.
