Is the 2008 Yamaha grizzly 400 4x4 a good atv?

I want to buy it but is it good, reliable, does it break down, is it fast.Is the 2008 Yamaha grizzly 400 4x4 a good atv?
Great vehicle. This unit would best match up to the Honda Rancher and Polaris Sportsman 400.

Honda Rancher...

4x4 model is only available in electronic shift or semi-automatic. Either way, you have to shift it.

Polaris Sportsman...

Fully automatic and less expensive. Known for chronic belt problems.

Yamaha has a superb name when it comes to toughness, durability, and reliability. With any 4x4 unit an extended warranty is always suggested.

yes, its the best you can get

just don't buy a Polaris

Polaris is soooo junk even the Polaris Dealers refuse to work on them

the reason nobody wants to repair them is because its a losing proposition to repair them cause they break down over and over again and that makes the dealer and the mechanic look bad.

don't believe me? huh? call up any dealer and tell him you have a Polaris ATV and you need a price to fix it, and I bet they will make some excuse or tell you to take it somewhere else.

I mean how pathetic is that?

All of the Yamaha 4x4s are good.

Their sport quads require a lot of engine maintenance.

The Grizzly is not made for speed.
