I have a 2001 yamaha warrior it will start but then backfires and stalls . i have put on a new stator pulsar coil ,cdi box, cam chain,valves,carb is clean and has no issues the time lite says its firing when it should what is causing my atv to not run pleaaase help with any ideas also all woodruff keys are good and not broke2001 yamaha warrior 350 atv wont stay running?
More info would be helpful - how long will it run, does if stall after reving the engine, stall after taking off choke , explicit details.
Check the parking brake switch.
When the parking brake is applied, it activates a rev limiter to prevent burning up the brakes %26amp; clutch when trying to ride with the parking brake on.
If the switch was not working properly, the rev limiter would be on always, causing the engine to misfire constantly.

Try a really good spark plug alot of times they are burnt or have alot of gas on them my cr 125 did the same thing checked everything and ended up being a foul plug got a new one and kicked right over and idled great! Hope this helped.
